The objective of this course is to meet the training requirements under section A-V/1-2 paragraph 2.2 of the STCW, as amended. Those successfully completing the course should be able to safely perform their duties for loading, unloading and care in transit or handling of cargo on liquefied gas tankers. They will make a safer and more effective contribution to the operation and control of the cargo on liquefied gas tankers, which will improve the ship safety and provide greater protection to the environment in particular.

Upon successful completion of the course, the trainee will receive a course completion document for Advanced Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations.
